The Best Day.

 This is the "Best Day". When I heard the words come out I had to glimpse at myself in the mirror behind her to make sure she was talking to me.. and to fight a tear that was coming. Since I already had a moment with this special bride hours before that had resulted in tears.. Don't worry they were good ones.. I was so happy for her, and so happy she chose me to be her photographer. In a sense I sort of felt like both our dreams were coming true. I know I'm goofy but that's really how I felt. Shooting their wedding choked me up several times. The brides maids were equally wonderful seeing to all of her needs, and at the some time seeing to their own. It was allot of work from start to finish,but she made it. Her fear of looking like a fool in front of the people attending the wedding was short lived. she marched down that Isle with her dad and her son,her dad's kiss on her cheek,and said "I Do".  then at the reception I captured some amazing UN-posed moments of two people who love each other so much. the first dance as "husband and wife" was very magical, after a very emotional father daughter dance.Everyone cried as the bride danced with her dad to the song Butterfly Kisses. I had a hard time capturing these precious moments behind tearful eye's . I was so happy for her to have that moment with her father, and didn't start crying till she did.

 

 It was truly a magical moment. Not a dry eye in the house. It all retrospect It really was the "Best Day"   and when she thanked me I felt so good inside. For those of you who don't know. This was my first wedding there were allot of firsts for me this weekend, First pedicure, yes folks its true. I have never had a pedi before this weekend, nor have I ever taken pictures during a ceremony at church, and watched my niece get married,or cried while I was photographing anything before, and it was completely wonderful. I pray that I will get more wedding's, they're allot of planning, and I love them. that's all there is to say. this was a wonderful day for Jessica and Jaime and I hope to record many more.  enjoy ...

Utah

Hello all. Last weekend I took a road trip with my friends and youngest baby,to utah for an engagement shoot. we celebrated day's of 47, paid a visit to the great salt lake where we had a great seamonkey experience. watched fireworks, sat in a hot tub, celebrated a 2nd birthday and just enjoyed each others time.

needless to say we had an activity packed weekend.lol.. any way  it was good to spend time with family we havent seen in a while. It's amazing how a trip "home" feeds the soul and re-charges the battery. any way here are some pics as promised.I will post more as they come out of processing. thanks for reading.

The Springs Preserves.

This past weekend was eventful. We went to see the Sorcerer's Apprentice, and loved it. We also went to the Spring's Preserves here in Las Vegas. though it was really really hot out we did get to play in the air conditioning for a while. and watched wall-e and had snow cones . The other day two of my three girls were playing with a mirror I got, as I snapped the pictures I remembered  when I was a little girl, how much fun it was to make faces,put lipstick on,and come or brush mine and my sisters hair. they looked up to me the same way that my youngest daughter looks up to her big sisters. and as I watched them interact with one another I thought wow these are My girls. It's always nice to catch a glimpse of yourself in your children. I love you Tina Rosie Izzy you are forever my girls.

DisneyLand

we are Finally going to DisneyLand.. woo hoo. Im totally soundign like a nerd right now,but I dont care. I am 31 years old married for 14 yrs now have four kid's, and I have never been to disneyland. nor have I seen the ocean.. this is a dream come true for me. I have always wanted to go, then when I had kids I really wanted to go..more than ever. we have everything taken care of  by the make a wish foundation. they are wonderful. and now I can take my babies somewhere un forgetable. were planning on flyin out aug 10th via limosine to the airport, then getting a rental at SNA. were staying on the site at one of the hotels, and having breakfast with goofy.. also having a meet and greet with mickey mouse..my daughter loves minnie and mickey. this is going to be an awesome trip. our family is soooo excited to go. My first Project.

This friday was so much fun. I have decided to give back to the community by taking some pictures for my local boys and girls club. Every friday they will have lots of fun things for the kiddos to do, and I will be there to capture some of those moments for their end of the year slide show. This friday they had face painting and  relay races, alot of the kiddos went for the Avatar look. I  plan on making a disk for the club. Im also planning on making extra disks for the parents as well so that they can have some of those pictures for themselves. they will be 10.00 . All proceeds of the sales are going to be donated to the club. I just want to give a thank you to all the staff members for being so helpful this past friday and a thank you to Mark their  new director for making it happen. I feel so grateful for this oppertunity and without your help I would have never been able to do this.. THANKS.. ok the good part. (pictures) are some these kids are so great.. Im glad to have met them among others.

Childhood..

Last night Rosilee and I were having so much fun on the trampoline I had to get the camera out. When I did I realized,I hadn't tried to take a picture of someone jumping before. So I  set my camera and started shooting. I was on the tramp with her then had to get off because she's not so little anymore lol. to get a good shot of her I had to get off! So I did and this is what I got.. It was alot of fun then she started crying for me to come back and I did what any good mom would do and took a picture of her and got back on! 

It's a RAW Thing..

Hello everyone! I did some learnin this weekend, my bff for life taught me a thing or two about photoshop.. here I was editing pictures in what I thought was raw. As my luck would have it I wasn't. But not to worry I was schooled on that real quick..lol.. We also had a power lesson session about masking.. and needless to say "I get it" yay!!! I am working so hard on learning all stuff that has to do with the technical side of editing.. or should I say Processing,because when you process something your not changing anything in the picture, Just enhancing the things you want to stand out.. and when your editing your changing other things..lol. learned that on my cafemom website..any way here is my first Raw image This is my son John. he is such a characater. There will be more to come.. Im officially addicted to it..lol.. A first for everything..

There's nothing quite like a first birthday,The smells, The sound of joy and laughter, The food, and last but not least the cake. I recently attended a first birthday party, and it was so warm and filled with love. I couldnt help but draw back to when each of my own children had their first birthday,and well needless to say there are 4 different 1st birthday stories to boot... I was also the photographer at this blessed event. It was amazing. thank you so much Lucy,Will, Ethans mom and espeacially Ethan. I was truly grateful to be at your special 1st birthday party.. Happy Birthday.

Loving It..

I am so blessed to have the people in my life that I do. I attended Scout-o-rama this last weekend, and it was amazing.. My son had so much fun with his friends,learning about wilderness stuff, we cooked out,made s'mores, and just really enjoyed each others time. We got a little sunburned going from boothe to boothe gettin his badges, but it was really worth it. My self worth as a parent has gone up a knotch. I took 450 pictures and I love em. I am so glad to be the sahm who get's to go camping with her cub scout, and take amazing pictures.

Calling.

Ive been working so hard at this new business. and it's like nothing ive ever experienced It's amazing how much hard work and learning  can pay off.. I can actually say I love my job. It's amazing thank you everyone that supports me and is helping me make this dream a reality. I have another boudair shoot on monday and a trash the dress session at the end of this month. I'll be sure to post pictures for you as soon as possible. till then just wanted to thank all involved.. this is truly great..

Today is a new day...

Hello all, I hope you all had a good holiday, Mine was a good one as well. I got a brand new lense, and I love it.. I have been learning so much on this journey, I hope I never stop.. Today I am shooting my first boudair shoot. and well Im nervous. Even so I am a professional and do know my camera quite well now.. and that was a feat in itself.. any way I'll be photographing two amazing women today, first up the boudair,then later today its head shots.. wish me luck! I will post them when they are done being processed..

Twins

Taking their pictures was really fun. we did have to wait for the sun to set a little more, and I was really nervous,I thinkthey might have been too. me more so then them.. Its hard to have a camera pointed in your face for an hour.. But all in all the shoot went great.Im so thankful for this and I just hope they enjoy them..

this lil girl was so fun to photograph. I love how her mom was behind me gasping everytime she cought a glimpse of them while I was shooting. It was awesome..
